The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History embarks on a plan of expansion to fulfill its Congressionally Chartered mission of education and preservation. The “Quantum Leap” Campaign includes steps as a non-profit organization to ensure stability and sustainability of the Museum so that future citizens can learn, experience important historical and technical insight, and achieve success for the betterment of our nation and world.
History
The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is officially chartered by Congress. The Museum itself is an intriguing place to learn the story of the atomic age, from early research through today’s peaceful uses of nuclear technology. The Museum’s permanent displays and changing special exhibits present history as well as science applications and future development of nuclear energy.
