This annual exhibition is currently closed, but the competition for the 2018 Atomic STEaM Photography Show will open again in June of 2018.
The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History will host the “Atomic STEaM Photography Show,” a special photo art exhibit, on display from November 4 through December 31, 2017. Individuals, both local and from all over the nation, shared their photographic talent and eye for everything science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEaM), and a select number of photographs were chosen through the juried competition to be displayed at the Museum.
Any individual, from a professional photographer to a student with a camera phone, were invited to submit a photograph to the “Atomic STEaM Photography Competition” with the hope to not only win a cash prize but to also have their work on display at the Museum. All photographs submitted relate in some way to overall theme of science, technology, engineering, art or mathematics, and they were all open to interpretation by the photographer.
“Atomic STEaM Photography Show” is included in the price of admission to the Museum.
