Einstein Society Gala
Einstein Society Gala
The Einstein Society Gala, our prestigious Black Tie and most important fundraising event of the year features a cocktail reception, dinner, entertainment and dancing, a silent auction, and an opportunity to honor an individual or entity who has made an outstanding contribution in the nuclear field, military leadership, medical technology, public policy, government, energy sciences, education, or space exploration with the National Award of Nuclear Science & History.
Proceeds from the Gala help support the Museum’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) educational programs for K-12 school students as well as, professional development workshops for science and math teachers.
The Museum will host its 17th Annual Einstein Society Gala on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town. Doors will open to an amazing Silent Auction at 6:00 p.m., and dinner will begin at 7:00 p.m., followed by an award presentation and dancing. That evening the Museum will present the 17th National Award of Nuclear Science & History to Southern Company; one of the largest producers of electricity in the United States and the largest wholesale provider in the Southeast.
