The Museum is pleased to announce the Outstanding STEM Student application opportunity! We seek two exceptional students enthusiastic about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The award recipients are invited to attend the 2026 Einstein Gala accompanied by their parent/guardian and a mentor teacher.
The Museum offers hands-on programs and activities that can be customized to grade level and curriculum. All programs align with the New Mexico Education Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards and are dedicated to energy, forces, nuclear radiation, and the history of nuclear science.

New Mexico resident admission prices require a valid photo ID with a resident address.
We recommend purchasing admissions for the same week they are to be used, but you will not be turned away if your visit occurs after the one-week timeframe.

Visitation policies at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History are designed to protect visitors and staff and secure and preserve the collections and facilities entrusted in our care. Violation of these guidelines could result in removal from the Museum.
Firearm Policy: The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is on federal property. The Museum prohibits visitors from carrying firearms and weapons on its property. Weapons include, but are not limited to, guns, knives, swords, explosives, and any chemical whose purpose is to cause harm to another person.
Acknowledgment of Risks: The Museum's nine-acre exhibit area, Heritage Park, is located outdoors; visitors are advised to watch their step on uneven surfaces, pathways, and loose gravel.
