The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History’s Einstein Express Program offers field trip busing assistance to Title 1 public schools in Albuquerque and the surrounding area. The program provides up to two buses (at the same time) per school per year for transportation to and from the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History. One chaperone for every 10 students is required.
This program operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. Funding for the year is limited, so apply early! Funding is for buses only and cannot be used for Museum admission, programs, or tours that require an additional charge. You can find descriptions and pricing for programs on the Field Trips & Outreach page. Selection of a self-guided tour ONLY is not eligible under this busing assistance program.
Schools will not be selected for multiple programs each year including Nuclear Science Week, Discover STEAM Week, and Einstein Express. Qualified schools will only be considered every other year for busing assistance. Applications can be made by clicking Teacher Registration and Principal Support Form below.
