Teachers—bring your students to experience the excitement of Nuclear Science Week at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History! Join us for a week of hands-on learning and discovery.
Each day from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, students will participate in dynamic, hands-on activities led by museum educators, volunteers, and professionals from the nuclear industry. These interactive sessions will explore key topics such as nuclear energy, nuclear medicine, radiation, and the many ways nuclear science influences our daily lives. The program is specially designed to provide middle and high school students with meaningful STEM experiences that spark curiosity and inspire future learning.
Following the morning activities, students will enjoy lunch outdoors beneath the wings of historic aircraft and have time to explore the museum’s exhibits from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, rounding out a full day of discovery and engagement.
Thanks to grant funding, participating schools will receive free admission and busing, making this opportunity accessible to all students.
