"Science is Everywhere" Election Day Camp: November 3

Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is thrilled to provide an in-person, "Science is Everywhere" Election Day Camp on November 3, 2020. Students K-7 will experience exciting science and fun activities at the museum from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Curious about color? How can you separate and bend light? During this exciting camp of "Chase the Rainbow," students will have a colorful day and join us as we discover the science of light and color, play with optics, and learn what color really is. You might just see color in a new light!

All camps are for grades Kindergarten through 7th grade. Our education team has divided camp topics into single-day camps that are multi-age collaborative camper experiences from 7:30 am-5:30 pm. Each in-person camp will maintain strict CDC safety protocols, with small camp ratios. All campers and staff must wear masks and pass a daily COVID-19 screening. Campers will need to bring a lunch, 2 snacks, and a refillable water bottle. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Guida at 505-245-2137, extension 101, or by site cell phone at 505-333-9533.

Each camp is a full-day camp for grades K-7. Pick up no later than 5:30 pm. $65/members and $70/non-members. Please bring a lunch, 2 snacks, and a refillable water bottle.
