The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is thrilled to announce the return of its popular Discover STEAM Day! This exciting event offers a unique opportunity for families to explore the fascinating world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) through fun, hands-on activities led by local experts.
Mark your calendars! Discover STEAM Day occurs on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Museum at 601 Eubank Boulevard Southeast in Albuquerque.

“We invite families to mark their calendars and join us for hands-on exploration and excitement at Discover STEAM Day. This annual event is a great way to inspire kids to explore STEAM fields," said Gabriel Nemiroff, Director of Education at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History. "We have planned activities to bring science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics to life, allowing participants to be curious and explore new things."
Upon participating in the interactive activities, attendees will receive a custom Discover STEAM Day button as a memento of their enriching experience. Discover STEAM Day is included with museum admission, and all museum members can attend for free. Admission prices and additional information are available at nuclearmuseum.org.
