Dr. Hartshorne will explore the intriguing question of "How Did a Little Radioactivity Become So Vital?" Join us on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History. Doors open at 6:00 pm. The presentation begins at 6:30 pm and the event ends at 8:00.
Admission is $12 per person. You must be 21 years old or older to attend. Admission will provide each guest with one beer ticket. Guests can purchase additional drinks. IDs are required. Please drink responsibly. Please email us with any questions.
Dr. "Mike" Hartshorne is a Los Alamos native who has practiced Radiology and Nuclear Medicine in the Army Medical Corps, the Albuquerque Veterans' Affairs Hospital, and the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. As a Professor Emeritus, he occasionally lectures at the University of New Mexico (UNM). He has been a friend of the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History since the mid-1980s and is a Trustee Emeritus of the National Atomic Museum Foundation. He is also involved in teaching fundamental Nuclear Science in local Middle and High Schools.
