The Nuclear Museum is Open to the Public

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is open to the public. For more information, please click here. As of Friday, August 20th, masks are required to be worn inside the museum, regardless of vaccination status, as per NM public health order.



VIRTUAL EVENT - Nuclear Science Week - October 18-22

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History's amazing education department will celebrate the twelfth year of Nuclear Science Week virtually, October 18-22. Events begin daily at 9 am via a virtual platform, and admission to this online event is FREE!

The museum will celebrate Nuclear Science Week - an international celebration of nuclear science and history - in a multi-day virtual event filled with engaging speakers, fascinating experiments, and entertaining activities that you can experience from the comfort of your own home!

A limited number of activity kits are available on a first come first served basis, so please email to find out how you can experiment right along with the presenters or if you have any questions!
