Alexis Moussalli was the inventor and creator of the Tho-Radia cosmetic brand, however, he was able to convince a doctor to market the company under his name. Doctor Alfred Curie was a real doctor, but probably had nothing to do with the Tho-Radia brand beyond lending his name. There is also no evidence that Doctor Alfred Curie was related to the Curie family responsible for the discovery of radium.
