Atomic Culture/ Pop Culture

Every visitor will be entertained while viewing the cultural items surrounding the dawning of the Atomic Age! This exhibit presents a lighter look at the impact of atomic discovery on our culture including the music we listen to and the movies and television we watch. Products such as toys, games, food and appliances were often influenced in modern design and name by the atomic world. The exhibit features a fascinating collection of materials from our past which are both nostalgic and historic and showcases the products that helped shape American’s ideas surrounding atomic power.
