National Museum of Nuclear Science & History Opens Enrollment for Fall/Winter “Science is Everywhere” Camp

[Albuquerque, NM] – Exciting explorations and delightful discoveries await your child at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History’s Science is Everywhere Day Camps. Let your child’s curiosity shine with a variety of fall and winter break day camps beginning on Friday, October 13 for Fall Break Day Camp. Hosted during the Albuquerque Public School’s break schedules, camps are open to Kindergarten through grade 6 students and begin at 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with free before and aftercare starting at 7:30 am and ending at 5:30 pm.

Fall Camps will be held on Friday, October 13; Tuesday, November 7; Friday, November 10; Monday, November 20; and Tuesday, November 21. Winter Break Camps will begin on Friday, December 22, and continue Tuesday, December 26 through Friday, December 28, and Tuesday, January 2 through Friday, January 5. Early registration is encouraged as camps fill up quickly.

“Designed to inspire and educate budding scientists and engineers, Our Science is Everywhere Camps help children build teamwork and critical thinking skills with a dose of fun,” said Bernadette C. Robin, Director of Communications at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History.

Curious young minds will engage in exploration-based activities led by a staff of trained educators. Day camps will capture your child’s attention and inspire critical thinking with research-based educational techniques. Campers will learn by doing science as they explore geology and fossils, forensics, aeronautics, engineering, and many other topics.
