Exhibit Highlights

  • Student Voices Lead the Experience: Local elementary students selected artifacts and created short audio stories, giving visitors a fresh, kid-powered perspective on science and history.
  • Easy, Interactive Access: Guests simply scan a QR code in Periodic Hall and follow numbered stops marked with the 4KBK icon to listen on their smartphones.
  • Quick, Engaging Stops: Each audio clip is just 1–2 minutes long—perfect for families and younger visitors exploring at their own pace.
  • Community Collaboration: Developed in partnership with Ms. Abby Flores’ 3rd grade class at Lavaland Elementary School, highlighting student creativity and hands-on STEM learning.
